Three Kerala High Court judges — Justice Anil K Narendran, Justice G Girish, and Justice PG Ajithkumar — and their families narrowly escaped the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, having left the area just hours before the incident.
According to The Hindu, the group departed Pahalgam at around 9:30 AM and reached Srinagar by noon. The attack, which occurred later that afternoon, claimed 28 lives and left many injured.
The judges had been in Jammu and Kashmir since April 17, visiting various districts and tourist destinations. News of their presence in the region sparked concern, but it was later confirmed that all members of the group were safe.
