J&K and Ladakh High Court Allocates Administrative Districts Among Judges

Jammu, March 26, 2025 – The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has issued a fresh order allocating administrative districts, tribunals, and authorities across the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh among its judges.

According to the directive, Justice Sanjeev Kumar has been assigned District Srinagar, along with MACT Srinagar, Special Tribunal, One Man Forest Authority, and District Budgam. Justice Sindhu Sharma will oversee District Jammu, along with MACT Jammu, Special Tribunal, Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal, Sales Tax Appellate Authority, and District Leh.

Other allocations include:

• Justice Rajnesh Oswal – District Anantnag and District Kathua.

• Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul – District Baramulla and District Samba.

• Justice Sanjay Dhar – District Rajouri and District Pulwama.

• Justice Puneet Gupta – District Ramban.

• Justice Javed Iqbal Wani – District Poonch and District Kulgam.

• Justice Mohd. Akram Chowdhary – District Udhampur and District Shopian.

• Justice Rahul Bharti – District Doda and District Ganderbal.

• Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi – District Kupwara and District Reasi.

• Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal – District Bandipora.

• Justice Rajesh Sekhri – District Kishtwar.

• Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani – District Kargil.

The order, signed by Chief Justice Tashi Rabstan, has been forwarded to all concerned judicial and administrative authorities for implementation.
