Anantnag, April 23, 2025: In the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam, Mr. Tahir Khurshid Raina, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Anantnag and Principal District & Sessions Judge, today visited Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag to assess the condition of the injured victims.
Mr. Raina met with the hospital administration and interacted with those receiving treatment, expressing deep concern over the injuries suffered by innocent tourists and civilians. He conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the victims and their families and directed the GMC Principal to ensure the provision of the best possible medical care without delay.
Emphasizing the need for compassionate treatment and swift response, he also deputed a team of Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) to the hospital. The PLVs have been assigned to assist victims and their attendants with legal support and procedural guidance, ensuring they face no administrative obstacles during their recovery.
